The Heartbeat of Nashville’s Bar & Music Scene

On July 9, 1996, a new business opened its doors in Nashville... named after the section on the last page of the sports section of the newspaper: The Scoreboard. That’s where the box scores and betting lines were posted, and it felt like the perfect name for what we wanted to build.

Scoreboard Bar & Grill was born. At the time, Nashville was brand new to the sports-themed restaurant game—and so were we.

Our foundation was simple: hickory-smoked meats and ice-cold beer. Nearly 30 years later, Scoreboard has grown into more than just a sports bar. Today, it’s a live music venue, a go-to spot for birthday celebrations, a headquarters for watch parties, a host for political fundraisers, and a true home base for authentic Nashville food, music, and fun.

WHO WE ARE

The Legacy of The Scoreboard Opry

It’s hard to believe how fast the years have gone by, but you don’t become an institution in this city without putting in the time. We’ve been blessed with friends, family, and business partners who have helped push us forward for over three decades.

Our goal is simple: to keep going for another three decades. We invite you to join us at the Scoreboard and see for yourself why we’re proud to be the longest-running, same-owner, licensed beer establishment in Nashville.
